About Aviator VFR Flight Intents

Scheduling and sharing VFR Flight Intents with Aviator will enhance a pilot's tracking abilities and simplify communication with family and friends. This means the people who need to be notified can easily track a flight when they're alerted of a pilot's planned departure time and destination.

After filing a VFR Flight Intent with FlightAware, pilots can also notify any FBO of their ETA to schedule needed services. This feature optimizes fuel stops and assures tie-downs are available at the intended destination. Please note, FlightAware's Aviator Flight Intents are not filed with the FAA.
