"Although the US and Europe are seeing a dip in commercial airline traffic, worldwide airline traffic has swung back in the positive direction after a 7% decrease from August 1 (73,808) to August 24 (68,321), the first drop in traffic since mid-May. Worldwide traffic has since gained back 5%, increasing from 68,321 commercial airline flights in a day (August 24) to 71,770 (September 12)."
