Scheduling your VFR flights using FlightAware Global can enhance your tracking abilities and make your life easier. When flying repositioning legs or VFR flights, FlightAware Global users can add upcoming flight information directly on FlightAware. We will not share this information with any government agency. When you add your Flight Intent in FlightAware, your flight will be displayed before your departure, along with a destination and an ETA. This means your friends, family, or employees can track your flight easily, knowing when you plan to depart and where you’re going. You can also schedule and notify your destination FBO.
Global users can easily fill out Flight Intents by visiting our website, locating the “My FlightAware Global” tab near your username at the top of the page, and clicking the link to “Flight Plan Advisory” in the drop-down menu. You can also click the "Add Upcoming Flight" button directly on the flight tracking page or on My FlightAware. You can also schedule your VFR flights directly on the FlightAware iOS mobile app! Make sure you have the latest version of the app and are logged into your FlightAware Global account.
