PiAware 10.2 update
For many aviation enthusiasts, the rural fields in and around Oshkosh, Wisconsin, become home for one week each year. Nearly ten thousand airplanes – and hundreds of thousands of people – make Oshkosh the center of aviation in July. But how do they all get to that single point in space? How is it managed?
This blog takes you behind the scenese to explore how it all comes together.

This month’s featured host fits in with the EAA theme. krocheck personally hosts 3 PiAware receivers, but the photos of his special site he shared with us is hosted directly at the show center at Oshkosh when EAA AirVenture occurs. As a vendor, he uses it for realtime operations instead of relying on 3rd party sites for tracking, but he set this up mostly for fun and personally paid for it himself!
For those interested in the details of the setup, check out his reddit post highlighting the site.

This month we released PiAware 10.2, a bug-fix update to fix issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and upgrades on PiAware 10 SD card images.
This release fixes two issues:
Wi-Fi passwords containing apostrophes and special characters not working correctly
Network Manager crashing during an upgrade from a PiAware 10 image
We encourage everyone to keep their PiAwares up to date to ensure we can continue updating and supporting them.
